About UBM International Media

UBM International Media is a division of United Business Media, which is headquartered in London, UK. The office in the Netherlands is the organiser of the world leading CPhI, ICSE, P-MEC, Informex, Fi, Hi and Ni series of pharmaceutical, chemical and food ingredient trade shows. The Dutch office also publishes International Food Ingredients (IFI) magazine and organises related conference activities. In 2008 the P-MEC, ICSE and CPhI teams have organised trade shows taking place in Frankfurt, Paris, Shanghai, Bangkok, Tokyo, New Orleans and Rio de Janeiro. The India 2008 events (P-MEC India, ICSE India and CPhI India) were postponed due to the adverse security situation in Mumbai at the time the shows were scheduled to take place.

Joining CPhI Worldwide and ICSE in Madrid in 2005 was the inaugural P-MEC, The Pharmaceutical Machinery and Equipment Convention. With many production and procurement professionals already attending CPhI Worldwide it was a natural step to add an event specifically for their manufacturing needs. These three events now form a unique tripartite of events that attract over 22,000 industry professionals from over 110 countries and are considered the must attend events for any individual or organisation within the pharmaceutical manufacturing community. Other P-MEC launches were P-MEC China in 2005, P-MEC India in 2007 and P-MEC Japan in 2008.

P-MEC South America was launched in August 2008.
